The limited visa is offered when we want to invite you into the country, but wish to place more specific restrictions on the terms of your visit.

The associated visa will expressly state the reason for your visit and the date by which you must leave New Zealand.

The limited visa has other added restrictions. You will not be able to:

• apply for a different type of visa while you are here
• appeal at any time the conditions of your visa request the Minister of Immigration review your permit as a special case.
