Recognised Masters degrees or Doctorates are worth 55 points.
If your highest qualification is a recognised trade certificate, diploma, or Bachelors degree, you should select the basic qualification option in our points indicator (these qualifications are worth 50 points).
Your qualification must align with those in the List of Recognised Qualifications (see link below).
If it does not, we may require the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) to assess your qualification.
The points you can earn for a recognised qualification will depend on what level we assess your qualification to be on the New Zealand Register of Quality Assured Qualifications.
